Buckets and spades at the ready!
Boston Big Local is once again funding a two-day summer beach event in Central Park. It is being delivered by Boston Borough Council, supported by partner agencies Mayflower Housing, Boston Children’s Centre, Transported Arts and Boston United in the Community.
Boston Beach will be open between 10am and 3pm on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 August.
This time the beach will be double the size it was last year, meaning there will be even more room for families to relax, play and build sandcastles.
The free event will include donkey rides, bouncy castles and circus skills. There will also be beach related activities, arts and crafts and competitions.
More than 4,000 people enjoyed Boston’s first two-day beach event last summer, and we’re anticipating plenty of fun for all the family again this year – so be sure to save the dates! Please help to spread the word by letting your friends and family know about this FREE event. Everyone is welcome.
