Once the structure of the basket was more established we tied in some knitted flowers to add some texture. There was a choice of brightly coloured wallpaper samples to cover the base of our basket too. This added more colour and texture to the basket and looked very effective.
The finished results were not only pleasing to the eye and practical but something the group could be proud of.
We recycled some of the flowers from a previous Memory Lane project
