About Us
In 2012, The National Lottery gave the residents of Boston Big Local £1 Million to invest in their local area over ten years. We are nearly half-way through.
If you live in the BBL area you can join us to help us invest in the area you live in.
Organisations and groups in the BBL area can be financially support by:
- Being on our two year plan (see below) our next plan will be developed from September 2022.
- Applying for BBL funding
Boston Big Local Plan
This is the 5th and final approved and published Boston Big Local Plan for April 2023 to September 2024. It shows our priorities for the area, the expected outcomes and action plans for each theme, our governance structure, and details of our budget.

Agreed Activities
Our plan is broken down into 4 themes and any funding applications must fall into one of these themes.

Theme 1 – Health and Wellbeing (2023-24)
Boston Big Local will support the coordination of existing Health and Wellbeing activities and fund additional activities where there is an identified need. A lead delivery partner will coordinate the activities under each priority and any activities or services funded will not replace statutory services.
